A prominent NHS healthcare provider in North Hillingdon seeks a Security Officer to ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors. Responsibilities include monitoring the CCTV, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with difficult situations, good documentation skills, and the ability to liaise with police and hospital staff effectively. This role is integral to maintaining a safe and secure hospital environment, working collaboratively with various departments.
The Security Section exists for the safety of all staff, patients, and visitors to the Hospital site. To be responsible for monitoring the CCTV System, responding to all alarms within the Hospital and responding to duress calls made by members of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors. To deal with any aggressive patients/visitors as necessary. To be responsible for parking on the site, providing directions to visitors, searching for patients missing from the wards, assisting confused patients back to their wards and helping Hospital staff moving patients around the site where appropriate.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
