We are seeking a highly experienced individual who has an extensive knowledge in customer service and can provide our 5‑Star service delivery whilst maintaining a subtle, yet visible security presence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a 5‑star guest experience at all times.
- Anticipate clients' needs and problems before they arise and ensure expectations are met and exceeded each day.
- Maintain a high security awareness at all times.
- Reception duties and foyer management of all visitors and guests.
- Be seen as a visible customer‑focused professional by greeting clients and visitors where possible.
- Use relevant communications equipment proficiently and demonstrate good communication skills.
- Issue visitor passes using agreed processes and procedures.
- Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to and that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
- Manage lift operations and directing of deliveries.
- Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur and complete incident reports to a high standard within 2 hours.
- Ensure all landlord contractor access is pre‑authorised and in accordance with risk assessment/permit to work conditions.
- Oversee and manage any emergency evacuations.
- Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with management instructions.
- Assist Building Management to oversee access arrangements for occupier fit‑outs and ensure they adhere to site rules and procedures.
- Ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy providing a safe environment for all visitors.
- Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self‑motivated team player.
- Reliable and willing to work day/night shifts and any over‑time if required.
- Look for opportunities to enhance client/visitor experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service/security facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Smart and confident.
- Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as required.
- Clear, concise and confident communication skills which are customer service orientated with a keen eye for detail.
- Confidence and common sense to access and utilise expert resources when making decisions.
- Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
- Computer literate with good email etiquette. Use of concierge and Microsoft systems is an advantage.
- Have an acute sense of security awareness.
- Valid SIA licence preferred but not essential.
- 5 years of continuous work employment history without gaps and verifiable work history.
Pay & Shifts
Rate of pay: £15.30. Full‑time role: Saturday/Sunday Day Shift 0700‑1900hrs then Monday/Tuesday night shift 1900‑0700hrs.
