About the role

Title – Security officer

Pay Rate – 13.00/ Hour

Location – Buxton

Shift Timings – Full flexibility required (days and nights)

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. Candidates with previous supervisory or managerial experience are highly encouraged to apply. As this role is based on a secure government testing site operating 24/7, experience within the MOD, government, or other high-security environments would be highly advantageous.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (essential)
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Availability for both day and night shifts
• A 5-year checkable work/career history
• Previous experience in a similar security role (preferred)
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking all assigned duties
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Access to a mobile phone for shift bookings and communication
