Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an inspiring Security Manager to lead the on-site security team across our parks. You will plan resources, supervise patrols, manage incidents, and maintain safety and guest experience at all times.

You will recruit, train and develop your team, driving a positive security culture and delivering outstanding service. A current SIA license, UK driving licence, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team.
• SIA license (Door Supervision) and a full clean UK driving licence (manual).
• Excellent customer service skills and confident communication.
• Ability to foster a positive security culture within a team.
• Commercial awareness including budget and rota management.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan resource levels to ensure adequate security across the park.
• Utilise security team to patrol, deter incidents and maintain safety.
• Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions.
• Manage incidents with proper escalation and reporting.
• Oversee security technology and CCTV systems.
• Conduct unbiased investigations and document statements/reports.
• Review security data using on-park systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities and risks to the park.
• Liaise with local enforcement authorities for inspections/investigations.
• Attend management meetings to promote security awareness.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.
• Carry out regular 1:1s and team briefings to keep the team engaged.
