About Birkbeck

This opportunity comes at an exciting point in Birkbeck's history, as we recently celebrated our 200th anniversary. Our security, campus experience team operates 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering not only safety and vigilance but also exceptional customer service to all our customers.

Role overview

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of hands‑on management in a fast‑paced environment, working on their own initiative and providing expert advice regarding security matters. They will also play a key role in ensuring the University's compliance with the forthcoming Martyn's Law legislation.

This role would suit individuals with a track record in creating a culture of exceptional delivery and managing change. Strong communication skills will be essential as the role includes extensive partnerships with our neighbouring higher education institutions.
