Service and Maintenance Security Engineer

Salary: Up to £35K + standby and call out fee

Holidays: 27 days + birthday day off + bank holidays.

Location: Based in either the Midlands or the Thames Valley M40 corridor

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working on the service and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems; have a "can do" attitude and a minimum of three years experience.

Proficiency working with the following systems is desirable.

  • CCTV: Dahua
  • Intruder: Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and Galaxy
  • Access Control: Paxton

Training on our clients specialist software will be given, as well as ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Complete intruder alarm, CCTV and access control servicing on customer sites to comply with Company and BS / EN standards.
  • Complete small works and Install and replace items as highlighted during maintenance visits, such as cameras or detectors.
  • Ensure you complete work in a timely and effective manner without losing track of quality and remain compliant to industry standards.
  • Carry out maintenance on existing systems. Methodically diagnose problems, efficiently fault find and undertake corrective actions.
  • Work safely and adhere to regulation and RAMS. Ensure that administration requirements are completed on time and all necessary records are maintained accurately.
  • Participate with the on-call rota. To conduct all activities in a professional manner at all times and follow company procedures.
  • Attend company meetings as required. Ensure exceptional levels of customer service and client relations are maintained.
  • Work efficiently within the team to ensure that projects are run in a timely manner and target completion dates are achieved.
Additional Information

Security screening to BS7858 standard is required for this role.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
