Job description

Adecco are recruiting for a Security Account Manager to join their clients team based in Wantage!

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of an existing portfolio of reseller and partners, focusing on retention and growth.
  • Seek out and develop new business opportunities across your designated territory.
  • Assess partner requirements and recommend suitable solutions from the available vendor portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales and technical support teams to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions.
  • Build effective working relationships with vendor partners and internal teams, including technical, logistics, and marketing.
  • Ensure all account activity is accurately recorded in the CRM system, producing regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Participate in vendor training to remain current on product developments and market trends.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, webinars, and partner meetings when required.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Previous experience in a B2B sales or account management position, ideally within IT or technology distribution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or HubSpot.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive in approach.
  • A team-oriented individual who performs well in a fast-paced environment.
