Secure Unit Support Worker | Channel Islands

Are you looking for a change of scene, but want to continue to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families?

We are currently recruiting for a secure children's unit based in the Channel Islands who are looking for experienced support workers to work within a Secure Residential Children's Home.

Due to the nature of the role and the complexity of the service users, it is necessary for you to have worked in a secure setting previously within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

You will take part in sleep duties within the homes, meaning overnight stays. This role includes standby pay (0.25x hourly rate) and full pay if you are called out, with double pay on bank holidays.

Travel, moving costs and accommodation are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Hold at least a level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Be over 21 years of age
  • Hold a clean driving license
  • Have previous experience in a secure setting within the last 3 years
