Secure Area Operative

Location: Belfast

Contract Type: Full‑Time / Permanent

Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Thursday 12:00 – 20:30, Friday & Saturday 10:00 – 18:30

Salary: £27,164 per annum

A growing client in Belfast is looking for a Secure Area Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing and preparation of coin and cash, loading/unloading of vehicles, and dealing with drivers to ensure completion of secure and successful container transfers. Duties also include day‑to‑day operation of machinery within the secure area, cleaning and basic maintenance of all equipment.

The role requires computer literacy, reliability, flexibility, and excellent accuracy skills, as well as the movement of coin and cash in a secure warehouse setting.

Essential Criteria

• Meticulous and high degree of attention to detail
• Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative within tight timescales.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy containers safely, using manual handling techniques.

Security Checks

• A 5‑year employment history (less for recent school leavers)
• Adverse financial credit check
• Access NI Criminal Record Check (Basic Level)
