Assignments: Day-to-Day, Short-Term, and Long-Term

Are you a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teacher looking for flexible work in Rotherham?

We're building a brand-new pool of qualified teachers to support a well-regarded partner secondary school in the S61 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs) to gain experience across various subjects and year groups in a supportive and welcoming school environment.

The Role

We are recruiting teachers for varied assignments, including: Daily cover for sickness and training; Short-term placements; Long-term roles (maternity, extended leave, etc.).

As part of our supply pool, you'll be able to choose assignments that suit your availability and interests, with the option of full-time or part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
• Mark and assess student's work when required
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents when necessary
• Contribute to a positive and productive learning environment

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (placement experience acceptable for ECTs)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Adaptability and a positive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Right to work in the UK
