Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS4 students, ensuring the curriculum is thoroughly covered
  • Differentiating teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with additional needs or varying levels of ability
  • Assessing student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support improvement
  • Developing students\' problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning through practical activities, projects, and real-world applications
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and respectful learning environment
  • Tracking and recording student achievement and progress in line with school policies
  • Contributing to department meetings and collaborative planning to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery
  • Supporting students\' emotional and academic development, fostering confidence and independence in Mathematics
