A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a Secondary English & Maths Tutor for one-to-one and small group tuition. This ongoing role focuses on supporting secondary-aged students in Newcastle who are disengaged from education due to various challenges. The ideal candidate must have experience with SEND students, be patient, and hold an enhanced DBS. This role provides the opportunity to tailor sessions to individual needs and work collaboratively with families and schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with ADHD, SEMH, and students who have been permanently excluded.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
• Ability to reference the last two years of education/employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English.
• Develop and implement personalised lesson plans.
• Monitor student progress.
