Overview

Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer (Norwich Castle Quarter Shopping Centre). Roles include delivering excellent customer service, restocking and merchandising, and supporting store operations during the peak season. The position may require extra hours based on business needs and availability to work at weekends, including Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and flexible hours to cover store needs, with potential for additional hours during busy periods.
• Deliver approachable and confident customer service to assist shoppers.
• Move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets, and support team operations.
• Assist in the local Tesco concession space as required.
• Merchandise products, keep shelves stocked, and engage with customers to drive sales.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Reliable and flexible regarding working hours; willingness to work weekends and different shifts.
• Approachable with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physically able to move stock, handle deliveries, and participate in teamwork.

Key Information

• Rates of pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour.
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026.
• Store hours: open 7 days a week; weekend availability including Sundays required.
• Contract: 12 hours per week; shifts may be four 3-hour shifts over 3 days or two 6-hour shifts; potential for extra hours depending on trade.
• Seasonal commitments: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve are required.
