Sea Import Operations Clerk

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Basildon

Start: ASAP

Join a busy freight forwarding team in Basildon as a Sea Import Operations Clerk. You’ll handle import shipments, customs paperwork and delivery operations, gaining broad exposure across the business in a professional and collaborative environment.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage import shipments and documentation
  • Coordinate deliveries and track vessel arrivals
  • Prepare import customs paperwork
  • Support internal teams and customer service
  • Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with clients and internal teams as required.
What you need:
  • 2+ years’ import freight forwarding experience
  • Strong IT skills (Excel & Word)
  • Organised, detail-focused and reliable
  • Good communication and teamworking skills
