Overview

This Alternate Provision boasts fantastic sports facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.

The Alternate Provision is looking to take on a driven Science Teacher, on a permanent basis until the end of the academic year. The successful Science Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSEs. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Responsibilities

The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering and assessing science across KS3 and KS4, aligning with the school’s schemes of learning and preparing students for GCSE examinations.

Requirements

• QTS with Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science in a UK Secondary School
• Experience working with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
