A specialist educational institution in Braithwell seeks a dedicated Teacher of Science to improve the lives of autistic pupils. This role involves planning and delivering an engaging curriculum, collaborating with a supportive team, and actively participating in professional development. Sutherland House School in Braithwell is a non-maintained specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 5-19. The school prides itself on creating personalized learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil. We are looking for a committed Teacher of Science, who wants to work as part of a supportive staff team. You will have a passion for improving the lives for autistic pupils and their families and a commitment to planning and delivering an enriching and meaningful curriculum in your subject area.
Previous experience with autistic pupils or teaching in an additional special needs environment is desirable; however, full training and support will be given.
