Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Position: Temporary Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (ongoing / fixed-term)
Salary: 140 - 200 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking to appoint a Temporary Science Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Science specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with support from a strong and collaborative department. The post is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Responsibilities
  • Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics as appropriate

  • Deliver engaging science lessons aligning with the UK curriculum

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behavior

  • Collaborate with the science department and wider school team

Qualifications
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Have experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics in a UK secondary school

  • Be confident in delivering the Science curriculum to a range of abilities

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

  • Be available to start from the stated Start Date on a full-time basis
