Graduate Teaching Assistant (Science Graduate) Secondary School Brent January 2026 Start

Are you a Science graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in a secondary school?
Do you have a passion for education and want to make a real difference to young people's learning?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive and high‑achieving secondary school in Brent that is seeking a Science graduate to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant from January. This full‑time, long‑term role (Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm) offers a fantastic pathway into teaching, educational psychology, or school‑based support roles.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Science graduate who wants to broaden their classroom experience across a range of subjects while still bringing their scientific strengths to the school environment.

About the Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students across a variety of subjects, including but not limited to Science
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students who need extra help
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and accessible learning experiences
• Assist with classroom activities, lesson preparation, and resource organisation
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Encourage students' confidence, motivation, and academic progress
• Support behaviour management strategies under the guidance of senior staff

What We're Looking For

• A recent Science graduate (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline)
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
