Are you an undergraduate looking for a full-year placement where you can support students in science across KS3 and KS4?

Position: Science Academic Coach
Salary: £80 – 90 per day
Duration: September 2025 – July 2026
Location: ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School, Central Birmingham

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring teacher or science professional to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting. As a Science Academic Coach, you will work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop their understanding of key scientific concepts. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, assist in practical experiments, and help deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of experienced science teachers.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic undergraduate with a strong academic background in science. You should be proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting students’ learning. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and an interest in making science accessible and engaging will be key to success in this role.
