This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical science, is well-organised, and wants to play a key part in supporting teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Prepare, set up and clear away equipment and materials for science lessons, including practical experiments.
Ensure laboratories are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, organisation and safety.
Support teachers and students during practical work when required.
Manage stock levels of equipment and chemicals, placing orders as needed.
Maintain up-to-date records in line with Health & Safety regulations and school policies.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
A strong interest in science, with practical experience in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in a laboratory environment (training will be provided if needed).
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
