We are seeking a safety‑conscious, calm and reliable minibus driver to join our team as soon as possible, working 5 hours each day before/after school.

Job Purpose

To safely transport pupils between designated pick up points and the School. At least two years' driving experience is necessary, as well as a full clean UK driving licence (with D1 entitlement). Candidates must be aged 25+ (for insurance purposes)

Duties
  • Daily inspection of the school bus, prior to setting off on a journey, to ensure roadworthiness, serviceability and duty of care.
  • Completing the daily and weekly inspection list on the vehicle.
  • Monitoring the cleanliness of the vehicleand ensuring the bus is regularly cleaned internally and externally.
  • Checkpetrol and fluidlevels, to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Reporting any concernswith regard tothe roadworthiness of the vehicle tothe Estate and Facilities Manager.
  • Driving the school bus inan appropriate mannerwith due regard to safety Syl and speed limits.
  • Supervision of students on the school bus to ensure safety (including checks toensure seatbelts and head rests are being used appropriately and that помогаетremainin their seats at all times).
  • Enforcement of the school minibus policy and the reporting of any incidentsor unsatisfactory behaviour to the Deputy HeadPastoral.
  • Communicating, using agreed school protocols, with parents of pupils on thebus to ensure efficient and safe practice.
  • Collecting and dropping off students at designated locations and times.
  • Dealing with accidents/incidents and reporting them to the SchoolOffice/Deputy Head, asappropriate.
  • Ensuring that all personal data is protected.
