A primary school for children with severe learning difficulties is seeking a School Meal Supervisory Assistant to support students during lunchtime. This role requires a friendly demeanor and a commitment to safeguarding children. The successful candidate will work from 11.45 am to 1.45 pm, Monday to Friday during term time, on a fixed-term contract initially for one year. The position offers a salary in the range of £5,458 to £5,557 per annum based on part-time hours.
School Meal Supervisory Assistant (SMSA)
We are looking for friendly School Meal Supervisory Assistants (SMSA’s) to support the children at our Virginia Water site during the busy lunch‑time period at our primary school.
We are a Federation of two outstanding schools for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, some with associated autism. Manor Mead is our Primary School for 4-11 year olds in Shepperton with a satellite provision in Virginia Water; our Secondary School is Walton Leigh, for 11-19 year olds.

SP1 / 2 Pro Rata – £5,458 – £5,557 per annum (FTE £23,322).
11.45 am – 1.45 pm, Monday‑Friday during term time only; 10 hours per week, 38.2 weeks per year.
Fixed‑term contract – one year initially.
