Marchant Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Technician for a well-regarded Dudley school. You will ensure smooth daily IT operations, support staff and students, and maintain classroom technology across the campus.

The role covers hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows environments, Microsoft 365 administration, and Active Directory, with a focus on proactive, student-centered service within a collaborative school community.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT support to staff and students.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and networks.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality first- and second-line technical support to teachers, operational staff, and students across the campus.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware faults, software glitches, network issues, and peripheral errors.
• Install, configure, update and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, tablets, and IT peripherals.
• Support end-users with Microsoft 365 administration, Windows environments, and bespoke educational software.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions via Active Directory and cloud platforms.
• Set up and maintain classroom AV equipment, interactive displays, projectors, and digital media tools.
• Assist with routine system maintenance, equipment inventory, and software rollouts.
