Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a School IT Support Technician in Banbury, Oxfordshire. You will join the school's IT team to provide first-line support for staff and pupils and help maintain classroom tech.

The role covers troubleshooting, setting up devices, managing user accounts, software updates and keeping asset records. DBS check is required; prior school IT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• IT support or helpdesk experience required.
• School IT experience advantageous.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to helpdesk requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Set up and maintain computers, laptops, printers and classroom equipment.
• Assist with user accounts, password resets and access permissions.
• Support software installations, updates and routine maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset records and report faults.
• Escalate more complex network or security issues to senior IT colleagues.
