Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a well-regarded school in the United Kingdom to recruit a reliable IT Technician. You will ensure day-to-day operation of IT systems, hardware and networks, supporting staff and students across classrooms and administration.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, managing Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and classroom technology such as interactive displays and AV equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support in educational or similar environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, and basic network concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of classroom tech, including AV equipment.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Support school-wide systems and ensure daily IT operations run smoothly.
