Job summary

Marchant Recruitment has partnered with a well-regarded UK school to recruit an IT Technician. The successful candidate will provide frontline and second-line support for staff and students, maintain computers and peripherals, and help keep networks, printers and classroom technology operating reliably.

You will work on Microsoft 365, Windows systems and AV equipment in a friendly school environment, reporting to the IT department and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support in an education environment preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Wamiliarity with Microsoft 365, Windows OS and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Support users with Microsoft 365, Windows and school software systems.
• Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of classroom technology including interactive displays and AV.
