A regional healthcare provider is looking for a School Nurse to provide innovative healthcare services to the school-aged population in Sandwell. Ideal candidates will possess a Specialist Public Health Nursing qualification and a Registered Nurse degree. An opportunity has arisen for a School Nurse holding the SCPHN - School Nursing qualification to join our innovative team. Our team members are innovative and strive to provide excellent holistic care and support. New members of the team are supported by a mentoring and preceptorship programme.
Sandwell School Health Nurses strive to deliver services that are visible and accessible to the school aged population of Sandwell delivering universal public health services and ensuring early help and extra support is available to children and young people at the times when they need it.
Sandwell Band 6 SCPHN nurses work across the 6 towns in Sandwell delivering child focused universal public health services, supporting children and young people when they need it most.
Applicants must hold a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse/ School Nursing qualification.
Applicants must be car drivers and have daily use of a car as travel within the community is essential to the role.
