Overview

Are you a meticulous and reliable individual with a keen eye for detail? We are urgently seeking a new team member to help us create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff in a Walton-le-Dale secondary school. This is a vital opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment, ensuring our secondary school is sparkling for our pupils. The work offered is ad hoc (as and when needed by the school), and you will work between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.

Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, communal areas, and offices.
• Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilet facilities to ensure hygiene.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floor surfaces.
• Efficiently emptying bins and appropriate waste disposal.
• Dusting and polishing various surfaces.
• Replenishing essential supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels).
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and KCSIE guidelines.
• Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or damage.
