Job description

Interaction Education are pleased to currently be supporting a great school in High Wycombe in their search for a Caretaker.

This role is an immediate start, with a view to going longer term after the Christmas break for the successful candidate.

The key responsibilities for the role can be found below:

  • Carry out daily cleaning, tidying, and upkeep of the premises

  • Perform minor repairs and report larger maintenance issues

  • Monitor building security, including opening/closing procedures

  • Maintain outdoor areas, including litter picking and basic grounds work

  • Manage waste disposal and recycling

  • Assist with deliveries, room setups, and general support tasks

  • Ensure health & safety standards are followed at all times

Skills & Experience:
  • Previous caretaking or maintenance experience preferred

  • Basic DIY/repair skills

  • Good communication and organisation

  • Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach

  • Reliability and attention to detail
