Due to the retirement of the current post-holder, the Governors of St Nicholas School are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and experienced School Business Manager to join our friendly and hard-working team.
37.5 hours per week during term time only plus 2 weeks, i.e. 41 weeks of the year.
Salary: at Surrey Grade 9 £41,585 FTE, which means pro‑rate actual salary of £39,177.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on the success and sustainability of our school and to enable others in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
As School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the school’s finances and resources, personnel, premises, and administrative functions. Working closely with the Headteacher and Governors, you will help shape strategic decisions and ensure the smooth running of our school.
This is an exciting role for a finance professional able to transfer their knowledge and skills into an educational setting, and ultimately for the benefit of all of our children.
Accountancy qualification or equivalent degree.
Strong knowledge of finance processes and regulations.
Experience working in a Finance or Business Manager role, ideally within education.
