Job summary

Education Authority in Derry/Londonderry is seeking a part-time Building Supervisor (with no supervision) to provide cleaning and non-cleaning services under the line manager. Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ demonstrable experience as assistant building supervisor and/or supervisor and/or caretaker in a school.
• As a key holder, prepared to respond to call outs at short notice, including unsociable hours.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to the role and site security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of premises and contents; open/close and lock up.
• Monitor security systems, respond to faults, and report breaches.
• Operate and monitor alarms, grit pathways, and maintain cleaning and general building services.
