Job summary

Education Authority is recruiting a part-time School Cleaner for the Derry/Londonderry area. The role covers cleaning across designated premises, including floors, toilets and general surfaces, with duties closely aligned to Health and Safety and COSHH requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with school cleaning and cleaning machinery.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including COSHH.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication in English and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and floor care using appropriate equipment.
• Clean toilets, showers and surface fixtures; dust ledges and walls up to 3.35m.
• Empty bins and relocate waste to designated collection points.
• Follow safety procedures and report any faults or hazards.
