Qualifications

• Minimum four months’ demonstrable experience as an assistant building supervisor / building supervisor / caretaker / cleaner in a formal setting and paid capacity.
• Ability to work as part of a team with effective communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Security: protect premises, open/close, lock doors, manage keys and monitor alarm systems.
• Mechanical and electrical: oversee boiler/heating, lighting, and routine plant maintenance.
• Cleaning: plan and supervise cleaning tasks, ensure standards are met and premises are prepared for use.
• Porterage: handle stores, despatch goods, and assist with room preparation and equipment setup.
• Administration: prepare reports, manage paperwork, and maintain stock records.
• Handyperson duties: perform tasks within the post-holder’s competence to support site needs.
