Job summary

The Education Authority is seeking a part-time Building Supervisor (with supervision) to provide on-site supervision, cleaning and related services. You will oversee cleaning staff, ensure security of buildings, and manage routine maintenance in a flexible pattern, with an occasional morning opening requirement.

The role involves safeguarding premises, supervising staff, and coordinating with the School Principal and line managers to maintain safety and standards in accordance with Education

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of four months’ demonstrable experience working as an assistant building supervisor and/or building supervisor and/or caretaker and/or cleaner in a formal setting and paid capacity.
• As a key holder, be prepared to respond to call outs at short notice, including during unsociable hours.
• Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety and building security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Security of the premises and contents, opening/closing and locking duties.
• Operate and monitor security cameras and alarm systems; report faults.
• Plan and supervise cleaning staff and maintain hygiene standards across the facility.
