Job description

NPP are recruiting for a scaffolding divisional manager on behalf of market leader in the construction, retrofit and renewable energy sectors.

The successful candidate will be concerned with the planning, execution and overseeing of safety on scaffolding projects. Managing teams, budgets and resources to ensure projects meet quality, time and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic growth & divisional leadership
  • Developing a long term growth strategy
  • Oversee the establishment of the new scaffolding hub, providing input on yard design, logistics and operational work flows
  • Managing and overseeing operations, allocating labour, managing resources and co-coordinating projects
  • Implementing and overseeing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance
  • Managing and growing client & stakeholder relations, growing the division and increasing profitability
  • Leading, recruiting and developing teams
  • Conduct technocal assessments, site surveys and design reviews to conform with TG20 : 21
  • Prepare estimates, create site reports and provide operational insights for tendering
  • Strengthen internal compliance systems in line with HSE requirements, work at height legislation and NASC guidence
  • Drive the organisations preperation for NASC accreditation, ensuring all technical, opersational and administration processes align with audit requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and team management schemes
  • Minimum 5 years senior level experience in scaffolding management within social housing, commercial or major construction schemes
  • Deep knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety regulations (e.g. NASC guidelines TG20 : 21, SG4, SG6) and best practices
  • CISRS qualifications (minimum advanced scaffolding inspector / supervisor, manager qualifictions desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation and project delivery
  • Ability to leverage experience and increase profitability
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high pressure environments
