Job summary

A construction company based in Lurgan is seeking a Scaffold/Labourer Apprentice to provide hands-on experience and training in scaffolding and basic construction tasks. This role starts in the yard to learn about handling scaffold materials, with progress toward onsite work and further scaffold training. Ideal candidates are motivated, eager to learn, and willing to adhere to safety standards. This permanent position offers 39 weekly hours with various safety protocols in place.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding structures.
  • Support the construction team with general labour tasks on-site.
  • Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Learn and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Scaffold/Labourer Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers hands‑on experience and training in construction site support, working alongside skilled professionals to develop your skills in scaffolding, safety protocols, and basic construction tasks. Initially starting in the yard (based in Lurgan) to gain experience working with and handling scaffold materials, with an aim to be progressing to working onsite labouring, then after further training we would like to mentor applicants throughout the required scaffold training.

Responsibilities
