Job summary

A leading cyber security consultancy is seeking a Network Security Consultant for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on delivering and optimising Palo Alto Strata and Panorama within public sector projects. Candidates must have proven experience with firewall technologies and hold active SC clearance. This is a senior, hands-on position involving design, implementation, and improvement of firewall environments, with a hybrid work model requiring 1-2 days on-site in London.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering security solutions in project or consultancy environments.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies, network security, and enterprise networking.
• Must already hold active SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and support Palo Alto Strata (NGFW) and Panorama environments.
• Deliver firewall deployments, upgrades and migrations from legacy platforms.
• Define and implement security policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, and security profiles.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation.
