Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within large-scale transformation or government projects.
• Strong understanding of data structures, schemas, and relational databases.
• Experience in documenting data lineage and creating mapping documents.
• Knowledge of data migration strategies and best practices.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing legacy data structures and relationships to understand the current state.
• Document data lineage, tracing where data originates and how it flows through systems.
• Create mapping documents between legacy data fields and new system fields.
• Define and implement strategies for data migration, ensuring accuracy.
• Identify obsolete or redundant data that can be archived or removed.
• Maintain clear documentation of data models and validation processes.
