Qualifications

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA SCM and TM Consultant
Contract Length: 6 Months + extension
Location: Hybrid (UK-based client / London)
Overview:

Our client in the Resources sector is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SCM and Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support a key phase of their S/4HANA transformation programme. This role requires deep functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Transportation Management within S/4HANA, with hands-on configuration and integration experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA SCM and TM modules

• Support end-to-end process design, blueprinting, and gap analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional specifications

• Integrate TM with related modules such as MM, SD, and EWM

• Provide support during system testing, UAT, and cutover activities

• Deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams and support documentation

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA SCM and TM

• At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation in the SCM/TM space

• Strong functional knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes in the Resources or related industries

• Experience with freight order management, planning, carrier selection, and charge calculation

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Fiori apps and S/4HANA embedded analytics

• Exposure to other modules such as EWM or GTS

• Background in the Resources (e.g., Energy, Utilities, Mining) industry
