Job description

SAP Solution Architect required by Investigo on a Contract basis for 6 months plus extensions, you will provide critical technical leadership and detailed designs to delivery teams, managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Governance: Oversee the architectural landscape, ensuring consistency, technical integrity, and compliance across all new solution implementations.
  • Technical Leadership & Design: Provide expert technical direction, develop detailed solution designs, and offer critical leadership to cross‑functional delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Manage complex relationships with both internal business stakeholders and external technology partners/vendors to ensure complete architectural and delivery alignment.
  • Practice Maturation: Drive the continuous improvement and maturation of our enterprise architecture tools, standards, and practices, with a strong focus on maximizing component reuse and process consistency.
Required Expertise & Qualifications
  • Mandatory Enterprise System Design Experience: Substantial, demonstrable experience in a lead architecture role, specifically involving large‑scale, complex enterprise resource planning SAP solutions.
  • Architecture Governance & Strategy: Deep expertise in enterprise‑level architecture design and governance, leveraging established frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and demonstrating advanced competency in architecture development (equivalent to SFIA Level 5). *
  • Core Technology Stacks: Hands‑on experience and mastery of platforms essential for modern business infrastructure, including major ERP suites, integration/middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi/MuleSoft), public cloud services (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP), Enterprise Architecture Management tools (e.g., LeanIX/Ardoq), and database technologies (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Modern Integration Methods: Advanced proficiency in designing and implementing modern system integration patterns, with a specific focus on RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively, translating high‑level organizational strategy into clear, executable technical blueprints and confidently influencing senior leadership.
  • Technical Foundations: Strong understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, secure‑by‑design principles, and the application of emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
  • Education/Certification: Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required. Possession of a recognized enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, Certified Cloud Architect) is highly advantageous.
