We are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to champion Salesforce in William Reed and work directly with our brands to maximise its value. Reporting to the Salesforce Trainer & Commercial Business Partner and working closely with the Central Salesforce team, the Salesforce Business Analyst will act as a Power User and bridge the gap between the frontline commercial and operation teams and the central team.
The Salesforce Business Analyst will play an important role in gathering and translating business requirements, supporting feature development, testing and roll‑out, training and championing adoption and best practice across teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a Salesforce Power User across both sales and operations teams, promoting best practices and driving user adoption
- Provide area‑specific training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure effective use of Salesforce tools and features
- Engage with sales and operations stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and specifications for the central Salesforce team
- Participate in development planning and prioritisation, UAT, and release testing to ensure solutions meet business expectations
- Champion data integrity and consistency across all Salesforce elements
- Collaborate with sales and operations leadership to ensure reporting and dashboards are accurate, relevant, and provide meaningful actionable intelligence
- Recommend and implement enhancements that align with evolving business needs
- Proactively identify barriers and work with the team to suggest remediation activities via process or functional changes
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce & CRM‑focused Power User role
- Strong knowledge and experience of Sales Cloud, Media Cloud and CPQ or other revenue cloud platform is essential, with experience using Pardot or Tableau desirable
- Understanding of Salesforce objects, workflows and validation rules, with the ability to maintain reports and dashboards tailored to business needs
- Demonstrated success in effectively translating business requirements into technical specifications and able to clearly communicate and train across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate cross‑functionally, particularly in sales and operations contexts
- Exposure to data, reporting, and dashboard creation using Salesforce tools, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations
- Knowledge of data structures, data integrity principles and CRM best practices
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with an awareness of sales and finance processes
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and proactive with the ability to use own initiative and work independently, but also recognise when to seek guidance
- Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively and work to strict deadlines
- Excellent attention‑to‑detail to ensure accuracy in requirements, testing and documentation
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence for managing requirements and documentation desirable
