A leading asset management firm in Greater London is looking for a motivated professional to support the sales and relationship management teams. In this role, you will assist with client meetings, respond to inquiries, and maintain CRM records. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, strong communication skills, and a relevant degree. Assist the sales and relationship management teams with preparing for client meetings, presentations and proposals.
Respond to client inquiries related to SEI’s asset management services and funds via phone and email.
Support clients through the buying process, provide support and information to clients regarding a wide range of topics including fund information, marketing literature and investment views.
Produce and update sales reports, market intelligence and trend analysis.
Maintain and update CRM system – updating for new clients and working with development team on system improvements.
Proactively liaise with other internal functions (Investment team, Legal, Compliance, etc) and where appropriate contribute solutions to resolve any client service issues / errors.
Support the production and delivery of sales enablement collateral for SEI and partner solutions.
Adhere to all relevant FCA requirements and compliance, completing all necessary training within the required timeframe.
Any other ad‑hoc projects as required.
Demonstrable experience in a sales or support role within financial services, ideally in Asset Management.
A strong interest in investment management with a willingness to learn, along with a basic understanding of financial markets and asset classes.
Strong presentation, communication, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to quickly grasp SEI products, services, and technical financial concepts, and effectively convey them to clients and stakeholders.
High level of accuracy in administrative tasks, including maintaining CRM records and sales collateral.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
SMCR – This role is identified as a certified role and is therefore subject to the relevant Senior Manager and Certification Regime Rules set by the FCA. This role will perform the following certified functions:
MiFID II – Staff giving information about investment products, investment services or ancillary services.
It is essential that you hold or are working towards the following list of qualifications (or equivalent). If not, it is essential that you are willing to undertake and complete qualifications.
You will also have a strong work ethic & be focused and committed to success and be willing to travel as needed to achieve objectives.
Excellent phone manner – articulate / engaging / confident.
Proactive team player with good interpersonal skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
