Today, the Arabian Oud fragrance house – headquartered in Saudi Arabia – is a global brand with over 1000 stores in many parts of the world, 400 distinctive products in its collection, spread over 35 countries. Our signature stores thrive in cities such as Paris, Dubai, Milano, Madrid, Nice, Berlin, New York, Kuala Lumpur, London Oxford Street, Westfield Stratford and Westfield London, Bluewater.

We are seeking highly successful, experienced retail consultants to expand our team of fragrance specialists for a new opening in Leeds. This is a fantastic experience for a confident and enthusiastic sales assistant. You will play a key role in delivering an excellent, unforgettable experience. The ideal candidate will have an engaging enthusiasm for fragrance and a clear passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Champion a customer centric approach, delivering personalized fragrance experience and recommendations.
  • Drive sales through effective product demonstrations, scent pairing, and cross‑selling / up‑selling strategies.
  • Resolve customers concerns with empathy and timely follow‑through.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and merchandising standards across the store.
Visual Merchandising
  • Execute visual merchandising standards to create a premium in‑store experience.
  • Support seasonal launches, promotions, and fragrance launches with compelling displays.
  • Ensure store maintenance, cleanliness, at all times.
Operations
  • Assist with opening / closing procedures, cash handling, and POS accuracy.
  • Assist with stock reception, stock transfers, and back‑of‑house organization.
  • Assist with conducting regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
Brand Relations
  • Maintain strong knowledge of fragrance notes, brands, and trends.
  • Assist with events, in‑store activations, and private shopping appointments.
  • Represent the brand with integrity and discretion.
  • High level of presentation, grooming, and professional appearance suitable for a luxury brand.
Compliance & Standards
  • Uphold company policies, privacy laws, and health & safety regulations.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, ticketing, and promotions in line with brand guidelines.
  • Protect company assets and minimize loss (shrink) through vigilant controls.
Key Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of luxury retail, beauty, or fragrance experience (experience in premium brands is a plus).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer and relationship building abilities.
  • Knowledge of fragrance categories, notes, and the ability to articulate scent stories.
  • High level of presentation, grooming, and professional appearance suitable for a luxury brand.
  • Flexibility to work peak hours, weekends, holidays, and store events.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in beauty / fragrance or luxury retail.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent guest service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong communication.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic retail math, POS system proficiency.
  • Knowledge of fragrance notes, brands, and fragrance culture is a plus.
