Sales Professional – Agricultural Machinery

Sales Professional – Agricultural Machinery - UK (with international travel to USA & Australia) - £45,000 + Commission + Progression

The Job

An opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Sales Professional to join a well established agricultural machinery manufacturer. This role combines hands on customer engagement with strategic business involvement, offering exposure to both UK and international markets. You’ll build strong relationships with farmers, contractors, dealers and distributors while confidently presenting machinery, supporting sales growth and contributing to long term business planning. The position sits closely alongside senior leadership, providing genuine progression toward future management responsibilities for the right candidate.

Known for exceptional build standards and long standing customer relationships, the company has a strong reputation both domestically and overseas. With continued growth planned, the business is now seeking a driven individual who can support future development and become an integral part of its next generation of leadership.

The Candidate

Essential:

  • Strong communicator with a professional and respectful manner
  • Background or connections within agriculture or agricultural machinery
  • Good understanding of how farm machinery operates in real world conditions
  • Confident producing Excel reports, forecasts, and basic P&L calculations
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required
  • Motivated, eager to learn and open to long term development
  • Stable home situation enabling occasional extended travel

Desirable:

  • Sales experience within ag machinery or related technical sectors
  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Interest in progressing into senior management or strategic roles
  • Basic understanding of accounts (or willingness to develop)
