A renowned engineering firm seeks a business development professional responsible for commercial oversight of client accounts and unveiling new business opportunities. The role involves enhancing revenue through new sales acquisitions, formulating a strategic business development plan, and maintaining robust customer connections. The ideal candidate will actively participate in promoting engineering services and liaising with customer and engineering teams both locally and internationally.

  • Take overall commercial responsibility for some of our customer accounts and find new potential business.
  • Increase revenue for BEG in the UK through new sales acquisitions.
  • Develop and agree a business development strategy with BEG senior management.
  • Develop and maintain customer contacts.
  • Explore new business fields and applications for BEG services.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the BEG engineering services portfolio.
  • Promote Bosch Engineering in the UK. Support marketing and customer events. Attend conferences and trade shows.
  • Liaise with Bosch customer and engineering teams in the UK and abroad.
  • Support quote preparation and responses to RFQ's. Be the customer contact for project related commercial questions.
