Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + performance bonus

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)

Contract: Permanent / Full-Time – (Remote) Only required to attend the office for training

🚀 Culture Guru is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a fast-growing, people-led environmental services business.

📞 This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader to own commercial performance, inspire a talented team, and drive consistent, profitable growth across all service lines.

📬 Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll take full ownership of sales performance leading a skilled team of five and shaping the commercial strategy behind every win.

⭐ You’ll optimise inbound conversions, expand new business through partnerships and frameworks, and refine the systems, training, and reporting that keep revenue predictable and growing. This is a role where commercial acumen meets leadership excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of five sales professionals to exceed performance targets.
  • Oversee inbound enquiries from digital channels, ensuring rapid response and consistent conversion.
  • Maintain pricing accuracy, quote consistency, and commercial profitability.
  • Approve high-value or non-standard quotes, ensuring margin integrity.
  • Drive outbound sales, partnership development, and B2B framework opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine campaigns, messaging, and ROI measurement.
  • Deliver call reviews, 1 : 1s, and training sessions to enhance confidence and conversion.
  • Report directly to the COO with weekly insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to drive long-term efficiency.
Desirable attributes
  • Proven track record of entering a business, identifying growth opportunities, and improving sales performance.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales leadership or management (B2B, compliance, or service-based industries).
  • Strong understanding of quoting, pricing, and margin control.
  • Experienced in CRM systems, sales pipelines, and digital tools.
  • Confident communicator with a natural coaching and mentoring style.
