Sales & Logistics Administrator

Location: North of Shrewsbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
Rate: £14.00 – £16.80 per hour
Contract: 6 months temporary, with possibility of extension

About the Role

The role is to respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly, provide quotations, process sales orders, and organise logistics for a global customer base. The administrator will act as the primary point of contact and support various operational functions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for global customer enquiries, delivering high‑standard customer service.
  • Prepare and issue customer quotations in coordination with the Operations Manager and Managing Director.
  • Source transport quotations and arrange bookings for road and sea freight.
  • Create and process purchase orders and related transport and warehousing documentation.
  • Provide accurate, timely information to customers and respond to information requests.
  • Assist in preparing collection and delivery documentation, and support product dispatch from warehousing.
  • Raise sales orders and associated documentation, including delivery notes, pro‑forma invoices, credit notes, and final invoicing.
  • Liaise with the UK Production Manager and third‑party warehouses across Europe and the USA to support operational requirements.
  • Maintain general administrative duties, such as filing and record management.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.
