All About the Role

This is an 18-month level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship; we are looking for an energetic, detail orientated and customer focused Sales Executive Apprentice to join our experienced sales team. Full training is offered to a person with passion, drive, excellent customer service and communication skills.

Specific tasks & studies will include :
  • Building customer relationships & managing customer expectations
  • Learning about the importance of ethics and integrity
  • Understanding buying signals – both verbal and non-verbal and progression to point in sales conversations
  • Developing ethical techniques in closing sales
  • Effectively using digital tools to conduct research and target customers in line with overall sales strategy
  • Carry out all related sales administration including raising sales orders, checking stock availability, and raising quotations.
  • Identifying business needs such as minimum price and acceptable terms, negotiate or trade variables effectively
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service, acting as an organisational ambassador
  • Help to develop new business, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
  • Working across departments such as buying operations & transport to gain an insight into the business
