Sales Executive – Home Improvements – Aluminium Windows, Doors, Roof Lights & Home Improvements

Product Knowledge: Aluminium Windows, Doors, Roof Lights & Home Improvements
Location: Surrey
Route to Market: Retail sales to the architectural residential market via the public, architects & housing developers.
Salary / Package: £30k - £40k basic salary (DOE) + Bonus OTE £60,000 - £70,000 + Pension.

About the Company

A successful Aluminium windows, doors, roof light and home improvements manufacturer supplying the residential housing market throughout London and the South East. The company sales team is growing and as part of this development the company would like to secure two Sales Executives to join their motivated team based at the company’s regional site.

Responsibilities
  • Sell Aluminium Windows, Bi-fold & Sliding Doors, Roof Lights and Home Improvement products and services from the company’s range using solid knowledge and offering robust competitive solutions to prospective customers.
  • Perform cost, benefit and analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Ensure customer leads are followed up in a timely manner and enquiries and orders are logged and updated on the CRM System.
  • Estimating and generating quotations utilising the company’s internal systems.
  • Liaise with all departments to undertake surveys and successfully place orders with the procurement team on behalf of the customer.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Meet with Customers and Suppliers at trade shows and assist in occasional site visits.
  • Standard Hours include 8.30 - 5pm Mon - Fri plus every other Saturday 9 - 5pm. Days in lieu are offered to offset weekend hours.
  • Occasional weekend attendance at regional exhibitions/trade shows. Again days in lieu offered to offset any weekend commitments.
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Industry experience is not essential but is desirable. Sales experience is preferred and commercial individuals with a hungry and enthusiastic attitude will be welcome.
  • Experience selling glazing, door and home improvments products via a retail platform to the residential market would be highly desirable.
  • Experience selling other home improvments products would also be considered.
  • The role will suit a driven and motivated sales individual who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with the public and housing developers.
  • The company is looking for a good team player who will work well with colleagues at all levels within the business.
  • A highly organised individual who could successfully support architectural installations on residential projects.
