Wolseley Group's Whitby Plumb Centre is recruiting a Sales Assistant to serve customers at the trade counter, advise on plumbing products, and quote prices. The role emphasises building long-term customer relationships and delivering excellent service from 8am to 5pm, with Saturday overtime as needed.

The position is full-time, based at Whitby, offering a competitive £26,695 salary plus bonus and attractive benefits such as enhanced pension, annual leave, and employee discounts.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.
• A full UK Manual Driving licence is preferable.

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Whitby branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm. Saturday working 1 in 2, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.
